We’re knee deep in the holiday season. I’m also knee deep in a half dozen projects. The first is making the second difficult.
But it would be a sin to complain.
One of my favorite movies is Return to Me. Carol O’connor plays one of the main character’s uncle and he says this line that I always loved.
“I’m blessed with work.”
Look, I draw for a living and I’m fully aware of how rare and special that is. This job is stressful, and the business is unforgiving at times, but I’m always grateful for this life I get to live.
